My name is Norbert Rosenwinkel. Since 1995, I've been immersed in the IT world — and my passion for solving complex problems has never let go.
I started programming as a kid because logical puzzles fascinated me. It became a calling: I've been self-employed since 1995, and since 2000 as an IT entrepreneur with crosslabs GmbH.

My Story
My passion for technology began in 1984 when I got my first computer at age 11. What started as a fascination with logical puzzles and programming quickly became a calling. After graduating from high school in 1992, I began studying computer science at the University of Bielefeld — but practice drew me in more than theory.
By 1995, I was already working as a freelance software developer, and since 2000 I've been running crosslabs GmbH. Over 30+ years, I've delivered projects across a wide range of industries: reinsurance, energy, banking, insurance, logistics, healthcare, real estate, construction supply, trade fairs, and event marketing.
My technology focus is on .NET, C#, Angular, and TypeScript — from backend with Minimal APIs and Entity Framework to frontend with modern SPAs. I also bring solid experience with Java, SQL databases, Azure Cloud, Databricks, and big data analytics. As an IT architect and experienced Scrum team lead, I bring not only technical expertise but also the ability to structure complex projects and lead teams.
Today, my focus is on what matters most to businesses: deploying artificial intelligence meaningfully and securely. I develop RAG systems and AI agents, advise on the EU AI Act, and help you harness the potential of AI for your business. With JOKKEN, I've built my own AI assistant platform that demonstrates how modern AI technology can be applied in practice.
What drives me? The breadth. I understand the challenges of a mid-sized company just as well as the complexity of an enterprise architecture. Whether a small craft business or a globally operating corporation — I find the right solution for every challenge.
